Daryl L. Monson, 45, of Belvidere, died suddenly Saturday, November 15, 2014 at home. He was born December 5, 1968 in Harvard, IL. Son of Alan and Nadine "Dee" (Engle) Monson. He attended Belvidere schools and graduated from Belvidere High School in 1987. Daryl was employed at Bag-Makers, Inc. of Union, IL. He loved fishing and gardening. Daryl was an excellent cook, and a serious Steelers fan.
He is loved and will be missed by his parents, Alan and Nadine "Dee" Monson; brothers, Robert (Margaret) Monson, Jeffrey (Kim) Monson, William Monson; nephew, Michael Monson; longtime girlfriend, Deborah Beard; best friend, Jeff Blachford; and a ton of added friends. Predeceased by maternal and paternal grandparents. Daryl will be missed by all who knew him, and they will remember how he touched their lives.
