Darrell William Voehringer, 57, of Belvidere, IL passed away Friday, August 10. Darrell was born on September 1, 1960, in Chicago, IL the son of William and Ellen (Layden) Voehringer. Darrell was a graduate from William Fremd High School and went on to learn industrial trade work soon after, where he achieved the highest honors of his class. Darrell was also awarded the title of apprentice of the year as a Machinist. He spent most of his working years as a Tool Maker for Komet of America, a tool manufacturer in Schaumburg, IL. Darrell was an avid sports fan and thoroughly enjoyed cheering on his Chicago teams. He was a loving father and made plenty of time for his children, stepchildren, and other family members and friends.

Darrell is loved and will be missed by his loving Wife, Rose Voehringer; Children, Matthew and Nena Voehringer; Stepchildren, Roy and Michael (Nancy) McCoy; Siblings, Scott and Brad Voehringer; Grandchildren, Jayden Ramon, Gino, Serenity, and Montana McCoy; Nieces and Nephews, Sarah, Rebekah, Faith, Miranda, Mia, Noah and Aiden. He is preceded in death by his brother Mark Voehringer.

A visitation and time for gathering will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008.
