Obituary

Darlene June Worley, 87, a life long Poplar Grove Resident died peacefully Friday afternoon, April 4, 2008 in Swedish American Hospital with her loving family at her side. Darlene was born November 14, 1920 in Poplar Grove the daughter of Charles and Beulah (Ball) McIntyre. She married Clarence Worley on June 7, 1941 in Poplar Grove. She and Clarence farmed in Genoa, Chemung and returned to Poplar Grove. She also worked for Jean Mathison at Mathison's Mobile for 19 years. Darlene was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, Alpha Beta Women's Church Group, Rebekah's Lodge in Harvard and Poplar Grove School P.T.A.Darlene is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clarence; children, Dale (Diana) Worley, Gail (Eileen) Worley, June (Bill) Bristol all of Poplar Grove; grandchildren, Dale (Theresa) Worley Jr., Dawn (Nathan) Hahn, Rex Worley, Ken (Crystal) Worley, Jenn (Dave) Novak, Jodi Smith, Tim Bristol; great grandchildren, Shawnna, Bobby, Katelynn, Reba, Wyatt, Dakota, Cody, Daniel, Austin, Kolton, Kelsie, Aiden; sisters, Beth (Tony) Uthoff of Texas, Mary Lou (Dick) Kelsey of Genoa; brother, Bill (Helen) McIntyre of Poplar Grove; sisters- in-law, Hazel Kindberg of Caledonia, Frances (Clarence) Swanson of Cherry Valley. Darlene is predeceased by her parents.

A memorial will be established with the Poplar Grove United Methodist Church and Capron Rescue Squad in Darlene's memory.
