Daniel L. Evans. 73, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully in his sleep, January 31, 2025,  in his home in Belvidere. He was born March 18, 1951, son to Wilburn B. and Margaret (Richardson) Evans in Fort Meyers, Fla. He worked at Camcar as a factory worker for 38 years and Driv-Lok for ten years. He married his sweetheart, Gayle (Main) Evans in Belvidere and was married for 54 years. He loved fishing, motorcycling and working on cars. He also loved antiquing and traveling with his wife, Gayle. He was a big toy and gun collector and most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Daniel is loved and missed by his wife, Gayle; daughter, Sonia (Jerry) Cooper; and son, Robert (Lora) Evans; grandchildren, Danielle (Colton) Burkholder, Noah Evans, Rhiannon (Austin) Evans; and great granddaughter, Maggie Burkholder.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; and sister.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. Services and burial are private.
