A Loving Husband, Father and Son, Daniel S. Brinkmeyer, 32, of Garden Prairie, Illinois died Sunday, July 20, 2014 in Swedish-American Medical Center Emergency Room following a sudden illness. Born June 8, 1982 in Belvidere, IL; the son of Douglas D. and Vickie L. (Luckey) Brinkmeyer. Dan graduated from Belvidere High School, Class of 2000. He married Stacy L. Pettenger in Belvidere on July 8, 2006. Dan was an owner/operator for Howe Freightways as a professional driver. He enjoyed bowling and golf. Dan is survived by his wife, Stacy; 2 daughters, LeAnn and Lauren Brinkmeyer; parents, Doug and Vickie Brinkmeyer all of Garden Prairie, IL; sister, Deborah (Joshua) Brinkmeyer-Nelson and step-brother, Jeffrey Brinkmeyer; both of Poplar Grove, IL; maternal grandmother, Doris Luckey; 2 nephews, Owen Nelson and Tyler Brinkmeyer; and many close relatives and friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Luckey and Harold and Gertrude Brinkmeyer.

The family requests casual attire to those attending. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014. A Time of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Av. Burial in East Bonus Cemetery.
