Dale R. Moss, 70, of Belvidere, IL, died peacefully January 1, 2022, in Janesville, WI. He was born August 8, 1951, in Belvidere, son to Mervin W. and Mary (Tracey) Moss. He graduated high school and married his sweetheart, Bonnie Smith, nearly 50 years married, the love of his life, on February 12, 1972, in Belvidere. He loved his spouse and his nieces and nephew dearly. He also loved to be on the road with his truck where he was a professional truck driver, 50 years on the road and four million miles! Dale was very proud to know that he would be an organ donor, helping many families in need.

Dale will be dearly missed by his wife, Bonnie; sisters, Linda Moss and Cynthia Moss; special niece, like a daughter, Toni (Russ) Stickels; nieces, Kelli Stickels and Aileen Castro; and nephew, Cody Stickels.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Mervin Moss.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service, Friday, January 7, 2022, at Anderson Funeral and and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL 61008. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Joe Barefield will officiate. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories.
