Dale Jones age 81 passed away January 1, 2023. Born in Wayne County IL to Pauline and Virgil Jones. The family moved to Dekalb in March of 1944, where Dale's dad worked for Del Monte Foods. Dale served for 4 years in the Marines, based in San Diego.

He then married his first wife Pat Lambert, They divorced. He married his 2nd wife Mary Turek in Belvidere in December of 1969. Where they resided most of their married life.

Dale was a retired Roofer, member of Local 11.

Survived by his wife, Mary Ann Jones, two sisters, Margie Pierce of Dekalb, and Carolyn Barnes of Michigan, Two brothers, Ivan Jones of Dekalb and Roy Howard Jones of N.C. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Pauline and Virgil Jones, and younger brother Bill.

A funeral for Dale will be Wednesday, Jan 11, 2023 at 11am at Anderson Funeral and Cremation services. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere IL 61008. A visitation will take place at 10am until the time of service.

Burial to follow at Highland Garden of Memories.
