Cynthia Diane Seibel, 74, of Machesney Park, IL passed away June 30, 2023. She was born in Luverne, Minnesota. The daughter of Beatrice (Neubert) and Joseph Whitfield. Cynthia was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She worked for over 30 years at Chrysler in Belvidere, IL until her retirement. She had a strong work ethic and would often bring treats and uplift her coworkers with her kindness. She was a talented cook and enjoyed making meals for her loved ones. Her specialty dishes included lasagna, corned beef, 7 layered salad, as well as brownies and other desserts. Cynthia loved animals, especially her pets and took very good care of them. She loved shopping, and was a long-time subscriber of QVC home shopping network. Cynthia was always on the go. She had an active lifestyle of going out to eat with family and friends, and running errands, and keeping busy. Above all Cynthia loved spending quality time with her family. She will be missed by many. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
She is survived by her siblings, David (Susan) Whitfield, Pamela (Daniel) Coghlan, Scott Whitfield, Shawn (Delores) Whitfield; nieces and nephews, January, David, and Brooke, special niece, Brandy, Tyler, Kylea, and Sydni, special nephew, Teddy Jr., and Heather; special cousin, Janice; as well as numerous cousins, friends and extended family whom she loved dearly. She is welcomed into heaven by her parents, Joseph and Beatrice Whitfield; and her brothers, Ted (Sandy) Whitfield and Brian Whitfield; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cynthia's visitation will be Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10am at Bible Baptist Church located at 5831 Tripp Rd, Belvidere, IL 61008. Memorial service to follow at 11am. Cremation rites have been accorded.
