Curtis C. "Bubba" Kasten, 48, of Capron, died Monday, December 31, 2012, in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born May 8, 1964 in Stoughton, Wisconsin; son of Edwin and Joanne (Faber) Kasten. Married Pamela Thayer on May 25, 1991 in Harvard. Worked for Richco Plastics in Harvard doing plastic injection molding. He was a member of Capron United Methodist Church were he was active in just about anything the church was involved in; youth group leader, praise and worship, a lay speaker, and Stephen's minister. He volunteered with the food pantry and loved to camp and fish at Boone Lake.Survivors include his loving wife Pam; son John (Dawn) Woosley of Gahana, OH; daughters Sheila Booher, Wendy Woosley, and Andrea (Josh) Woosley all of Rockford; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Mark (Sue) Kasten. Predeceased by his parents.
