Corinne Heuel-Yates, 70, of Belvidere, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, January 17, 2018 after battling many health issues. She was born November 2, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Harvey and Rosamond (Hack) Heuel. Corinne married Hal Yates, he preceded her in death. She was a proud mother, who loved volunteering with the girl scouts. Corinne was a member of the VFW in West Dundee, IL. She loved playing computer games, reading, and writing stories. Most of all, she was passionate about collecting the Belvidere Hometown Christmas buttons and adding to her collection every year.

Corinne is loved and missed by her children, Therese (Brian) Glaser, Julie (Jim) Bragg, and Jeff Yates; her grandchildren, Kenny Bragg, Stephanie (Walter) Northcutt, Michael (Andre) Silva, Justin Bragg, and Dylan Bragg; her great-grandchildren, Sienna Sheetz, Benjamin Northcutt and Isaiah Northcutt; her sister, Marlene (Todd) Hoger; her niece, Kim (John) Schamper; and her great-nieces, Mandy and Ashleigh Schamper. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hal, her son, Bob Yates, and her brothers, Bob and Bill Heuel.

Per Corinne's wishes, no services will be held. Cremation rites have been accorded.
