Garden Prairie, ILCorey M. Korst, 34, of Garden Prairie, IL died Thursday, June 27, 2013 in Swedish American Belvidere, IL after a sudden illness. Corey was born February 25, 1979 in Belvidere, IL the son of Anthony and Ada (Pilgrim) Korst. Corey married Angelic Maish on October 17, 2009 in Garden Prairie. He was a carpenter for Local 2087. Corey was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and the Belvidere Moose. He enjoyed sharing thoughts and feelings with friends, supporting his Chicago teams, snowmobiling, four wheeling, fishing and most of all spending time with his kids.Corey was a member of the Garden Prairie United Church of Christ.Corey is loved and will be missed by his wife Angie; father Anthony (Marcia) Korst; children Payton, Reagan, Bethany, Emilee and Nate; brothers Kurt (Victoria) Korst, Jason Cloyd; niece Shayna; in-laws Randy and Connie Easley; Aunts Diane (Roger) Nichols, Brenda (Gary) Schooley; uncles Dale Korst and Donald Pilgrim, Jr.; cousins and friends He preceded in death by his mother Ada Korst.
