Clinton L. Tucker, 93, passed away at O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susie (Lear) Tucker and his father, Glen Tucker, both of whom resided and farmed in Belvidere most of their lives. Clint was a graduate of Belvidere High School and later graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters Degree in Dairy Science. Clint started his career as an inspector for the State of Kentucky and then was employed by Sealtest before entering the army. He served as a WWII medic stationed in Dutch New Guinea and Puerto Rico. After returning to the U.S., he was employed as a quality control expert at Dean Foods for 33 years. He completed his career as a consultant for Ludwig Dairy.Married in 2000 to the love of his life, Florence, his new found family include, Anne (Len) Borhart, of Huntley, Ill.; Jane (Mike) Blumenthal Palatine, Ill.and Tom (Peg) Michelsen, Woodstock, Ill. Clint enjoyed the company of his grandchildren, Megan (George Remus) Borhart and Erin Borhart; Alec and Rachel Blumenthal; Ashley, Tyler and Hailey Michelsen; and Brian and Nina Vaccaro.
