Belvidere, IllinoisClara M. Schabacker, 89, of Belvidere, Illinois died Saturday May 12, 2007 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a short illness. Clara was born July 29, 1917 in Oelwein, Iowa the daughter of Arthur and Avis (Lockhart) Deuhr. She married Mr. George Schabacker in Oelwein, IA on June 6, 1937. Clara formerly owned the Gulf Restaurant in Poplar Grove. Clara loved all her family. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Judy) Schabacker and Leonard "Len" (Tracey) Schabacker both of Belvidere; six grandchildren, Lori (Paul) Ollmann, Dan (Jean) Schabacker, Chad (Lily) Schabacker, Kara Schabacker, John (Marty) Meckley, Susan (Bob) Magers; fourteen great grandchildren, Matt, Emily, Katie, Christopher, Steven, Michelle, Tyler, Isaac, Alex, Derek, Sarah, Kol, Brooke, Autumn; great-great grandchild, Haley. She is predeceased by her Parents, Husband, daughter Judy Meckley; great grandson Tanner Schabacker; brother, Wayne .
