Clara B. Daniels, 102, of Crystal Lake, IL, died peacefully November 8, 2023, in Rockton, IL. She was born October 29, 1921, in Belvidere, IL, daughter to Ernest and Bessie (Vickers) Goodall. She attended school and worked on her family farm for many years. She worked for National Sewing Machine Co. in Belvidere during the war and was a waitress at Shady Lane in Marengo. She also worked at Arnold Engineering where she retired in 1986 at the age of 62. Clara was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Belvidere. Her interests included years of travel all over taking cruises to Alaska, Panama Canal, New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii and visited the Great Wall of China! She also loved to go fishing in Wisconsin with her first husband, LaVerne and gardening where she canned her produce. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Clara will be loved and missed by her daughter, Marilyn; stepdaughters, Kathryn (Jim) Doro and Mimi (John) Madsen; grandchildren, Mark (Sandy) Curran, Christopher Eickstead, Charles Thomas Eickstead II; and step-grandsons, George Doro, Scott Doro and Jack Madsen; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, LaVerne Eicksteadt and second husband, Lewis Daniels; Charles Thomas Eickstead I; Phillip Curran, step-grandchild, Andy Doro; and step-great-grandchild, Derek.

A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories. Rev.
