Clara L Chilson, 72, of Cherry Valley, Illinois passed away April 1, 2016 at her home.  She was born on October 21, 1943 in Irene, Illinois to Charles and Eunice (Vowels) Lee. Clara graduated from Kirkland High School and went on the work as a bookkeeper for Charles L. Lee and sons. Clara was part owner of Charles F. Lee and sons. Clara was a former member of Flora Township planning committee and Flora Church Board of Trustees. She enjoyed camping and holidays.

Clara is loved and will be missed by her sister, Sally (Ted) Baker; brothers, Marvin "Gerry" Lee, Curtis (Marie) Lee, Carlin (Judy) Lee and numerous nieces and nephews. Clara is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Julia Chilson; sisters, Karen Lee, and Connie Lee; brother, Barton Lee; sister-in-law, Carole Lee.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere IL, 61008 with Rev. Dan Schenck officitating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service. Burial in Flora Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association in Clara's name.
