Christian Vermont Purifoy, born April 11, 2014 at Rockford Memorial Hospital of Rockford, IL. He departed his life on August 18, 2014. In Christian's short time with us, we grew to love him. Christian had a special little smile and laugh. When Christian didn't want to be fed, changed or want his favorite binky, you would know because he would cry and pretty much demand to see his favorite pass time cartoon, Finding Nemo. When Finding Nemo played, he would watch that cartoon until he found his quiet time. He would laugh, smile and would be kicking those little feet, until off to sleep he would go while watching Nemo. We do not know why certain cartoons capture the attention of such little children, all we know is that it works. Christian will be very missed. Though his time on earth was short, Baby Christian brought a lifetime of joy and happiness to everyone he touched. All of his family and friends take comfort in knowing that our "Little Nemo" is smiling down on us from heaven and will forever keep watch over us. Especially all of his sisters and brother that have cherished every moment with him.

Christian is predeceased by his great-grandparents, Enry (Trudell) Purifoy; great uncle, Roger Purifoy; great-grandfather, Ray Seivert; great-grandfather, Filomeno Deleon, Sr.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 30, 2014 at All Nations Worship Center, 4747 W. Riverside Blvd, Rockford, IL 61101, with the Minister Joseph Herron, Jr. officiating.
