Cheryl A. Nordeen, 59, of Belvidere died Friday, August 5, 2005 in O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center following a long illness. Born July 24, 1946 in Sharon, Wisconsin to the parents of Harold and Rosemary (Smith) Nordeen. She has lived in Belvidere the past four years, coming here from Florida. In Florida, she worked as a Bus Driver for the Pinellas County Transit Authority and the last four years, preformed janitorial work for Pearl Place and cooked for Busch Gardens both in Belvidere. She was a Foster Parent for Foreign exchange students to the U. S. and enjoyed cooking and football as a supporter of the Green Bay Packers. She graduated from Belvidere High School.Suvivors include, Children, Jennifer Sanders; Karrie (John) Gustafson; Kellie (Jason) Meyers; Kammie (Jeff) Lane; Mother, Rosemary Freeman; four grandchildren, Alissa and Abagail Meyers; Corbin and Chloe Gustafson; two sisters, Gayle (Richard) Keating ; Pam (Bob) Gillis; Preceded in death by her father, infant daughter, Janet Erckfritz and sister, Mary Beth Nordeen.
