Cheryl Kay (LeClere) Permann, 56, of Machesney Park, Illinois, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 in her home following a long illness. She was born on October 21, 1955 in Manchester, Iowa; the daughter of Richard D. and Elsie L. (Moyer) LeClere. Cheryl graduated from Belvidere High School, class of 1973 as well as attended Rock Valley College. She worked as a CNA for PRN Nursing Service and Milestone before retiring. Cheryl was married to Lyle A. Permann in Rockton, Illinois on December 15, 1979. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was also a devoted pet lover who provided a loving home for many animals. Cheryl is survived by her parents, Richard "Dick" and Elsie LeClere; brother, Jeffrey (Linda) LeClere, all of Belvidere and nephew, Justin LeClere, of Naples, Florida; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the family or to the Noah's Ark.
