Cheryl J. Brown, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on
April 25, 2019 in Belvidere, Illinois. She was born to Donald and Mary Jean (Boyce)
Prieve on December 1, 1944 in Madison, Wisconsin. Cheryl married the late, Jack
Brown, on March 30, 1963 in Madison, Wisconsin. Cheryl worked for David C. Cook
Publishing Company in Elgin, Illinois for over 25 years and recently a greeter
for Walmart. She was a member of the American Legion for many years.

Cheryl loved spending time with her family, doing puzzles,
playing Yahtzee!, sewing, animals, and playing with dominos, cards, and dice. Cheryl
had many friends and was loved by so many.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Junette (William) Wiora,
RoseAnn Cleary, Randy (Jennifer) Brown, and Kelly (Cathy) Brown; sisters, Kathy
Campbell and LouAnn Acker; brothers, Donald "Spike" (Becky) Prieve, and Jim
(Audrey) Prieve; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews,
and cousins; and best friend Char Bergstrom.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and parents.

A visitation will take place on Monday, April 29, 2019 from
2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W Hurlbut
Ave., Belvidere, Illinois, 61008. Cremation rites have been accorded and a
private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial
