Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Norman Bell Jr. 91, passed away December 27, 2023. He was born in Chicago, IL. on November 5, 1932, the son of Florence (Manrose) and Charles Bell. Chuck served in the United States Army, during the Korean War and remained a proud patriot all of his life.

He was a loving husband to the late Nancy Bell. They spent 41 years in marriage. They lived in New Mexico for many years and loved spending time together.


He was a hard worker and a gentle spirit. Chuck loved playing card games and jigsaw puzzles. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.


He will be greatly missed.


He is survived by his children; Linda Behrends, Brenda Stowers; step-daughter, Dawn Chavez, 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, John Bell, and Richard Bell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family whom he loved dearly.


He is predeceased by his wife, Nancy Bell; son, Robert Bell, grandson, Tyler Stowers, great granddaughter Lydia Orcutt; sister, Jean DeVries,


Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are scheduled at this time.
