Charles "Chuck" Ganze, 82, of Belvidere, went to be with the Lord on Monday evening, May 1, 2017 in Rockford, IL. Born July 4, 1934, in La Salle, IL. He served in the United States Army. Charles worked at Cassens Transport and as a bus driver for many years, and then as a crossing guard.

Charles is loved and missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia; children, Scott (Cindy), David (Jill), Kelly (George) and Linda (Kevin); 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Ganze, and sister, Shirley Janz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth (Maurer) Ganze.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until 2:45 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
