Charles "Chuck" A. Klinefelter, 78, of Belvidere, IL, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford, IL. Charles was born August 25, 1940, to Russell and Laura (Ashcraft) Klinefelter in Troy Grove, IL. He married the love of his life, Florence Fitch, on March 4, 1961 at Hunter UMC in Poplar Grove, IL. Chuck was a farmer at heart and started farming in 1969. He also worked for Sandahl Farm Service, A&G Blacktop and was self-employed as a truck driver for Central Grain and Allen Banks Trucking. Chuck served as the Flora Township Road Commissioner, a member of the Belvidere Moose Lodge, a Tracys Seeds dealer, and has been the Boone County Fair Sheep Superintendent since 1985. Chuck loved his family and enjoyed mowing the lawn.

Charles is loved and will be missed by his wife, Florence; children, Charles "Buddy" (Dr. Kim) Klinefelter Jr., Roberta (Hector) Camargo, Bernie Klinefelter; daughter- in- laws, Laura Klinefelter, Tina Klinefelter; grandchildren, Nichole (Jimmy), Leah, Cody (Lexi), Nate (Calli), Katie (Justin), Sami (Austen), Bobby, Aidan and Dr. Aaron; great-grandchildren, Leila Marie, Daniel, Cole, Emery, Jillianne, Isabelle, Charlotte, and Brayden; siblings, Judy Bachman, Dennis Klinefelter, Harold (Roxanne) Klinefelter, Gary (Debbie) Klinefelter, Leroy (Helen) Klinefelter, Walt (Debbie) Klinefelter; sister-in-law, Diane Klinefelter; nephew, Tim; special great nephew, Ryker as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles was
preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Klinefelter; brothers, Robert Klinefelter,
David Klinefelter, Roger Klinefelter and Russell "Butch" Klinefelter Jr.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL, 61008. A visitation will be from 4 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the funeral home. Memorials to the family to establish a memorial later.
