Cecelia "Lynn" Clinkenbeard, 55, of Belvidere, died in her home Thursday, May 23, 2013, surrounded by her family. Born March 15, 1958 in Sycamore, daughter of Robert and Thelma (Banet) Montgomery. Married Calvin Clinkenbeard on July 17, 1976 in Genoa. For the past 7 years Lynn worked as a para-professional for the Belvidere school district working with special needs students. She enjoyed flower arranging and making ribbons for weddings, gardening, and traveling. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses with OSF St. Anthony Cancer Center and Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care for Lynn. She is survived by her loving husband Calvin; daughter Karen (Chris) Doyle of Rockford; son Charles of Belvidere; sisters Barbara Parisot of Kirkland and Joan (DeWaine) Judkins of Sycamore; several nieces and nephews; and several relatives on the Clinkenbeard side of the family. Predeceased by her parents, brothers James and Gregory Montgomery, and brother-in-law Don Parisot.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the family for a memorial to be established in Lynn's name.
