Catherine "Kathy" L. Kincaide, 85, of Rockford, IL, went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2025. She was born on February 15, 1940, in Wynne, Arkansas, to Benjamin "Carl" Blackwell and his beloved wife, Bertha Mae "Marple" Blackwell.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Kathy married Maynard Kincaide on September 23, 1958, in Rockford, IL. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage and raised five children together.

Kathy was a hardworking and determined woman who dedicated herself to providing for her family. She held various jobs over the years, always putting her loved ones first. Her love for gardening was evident in her beautiful flowers and vegetables, and she took great joy in hosting family gatherings and bringing loved ones together.

A fan of classic cinema from the 1940s, Kathy cherished the works of Sherlock Holmes and other timeless films. She also had a keen interest in antiques, often enjoying the history and craftsmanship of treasured pieces.

Kathy's legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Maynard (Kelleen) Kincaide Jr., Michael (Mellione) Kincaide, Laurie (Peter) Thompson, Mark Kincaide, Matthew (Samantha Cooper) Kincaide; grandchildren, Meghann Morrison, Lucas(Jade) Kincaide, Becky (Norton) Dablemont, Emily Kincaide, Ashley (Kyle) Kincaide-Cisneros, Joshua (Olivia) Kincaide, Jon (Jackie) Kincaide, Shelby Kincaide, Miya Vandepoele, Cooper Kincaide; great grandchildren, Ni'Caela, Janylah, Aiden, Logan, Nora, Theodore, Jackson, J.J.; Brother, Calvin (Marcia) Blackwell; sister, Challis (Donovan) Eggert, Catherine; sisters-in-law, Jean Blackwell, Marilyn Blackwell; as well as numerous extended family and friends whom she loved dearly.

She is welcomed into heaven by her husband, Maynard E. Kincaide, parents, Benjamin "Carl" Blackwell and Bertha Mae "Marple" Blackwell; brothers, Chester Blackwell, Charles (Mary) Blackwell, Carl (Patricia) Blackwell, Cleyo Blackwell, Cecil Blackwell.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be on September 23, 2025 at Anderson Funeral Home between the hours of 4-5pm with Service beginning at 5pm.
