Catherine O. Jury, 89, of Belvidere, Illinois died early Sunday morning, March 12, 2006 in her home. Catherine was born July 24, 1916 in Belvidere the daughter of Thomas J. and Lillian (Bean) O'Connell. She married Robert T. Jury on July 2, 1942 in Belvidere, IL. Prior to her retirement, Catherine worked as a secretary for O.H. Wright and Company and then for the Whalen Agency. Catherine was a lifelong Democrat, as well as an Election Judge. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity Episcopal where she was active in the Altar Guild.Survivors include her children, Kathleen (Richard) Ziegler of Grayslake, IL, Jacqueline Herdklotz of Rockford, IL, Thomas (Judy) Jury of Round Lake, IL and Jeffrey Jury of Austin, TX; sister, J. Elaine King of Belvidere; grandchildren, Kevin Ziegler, Brad Herdklotz, Nicole (Mike) Dizon , Janice (Ken) Fosse, Rob (Rachel) Jury, Andrea Jury, Dan Jury, Joseph Jury, John P. Jury; great grandson, Jake Dizon.Catherine is predeceased by her parents, sisters, Lorraine O'Connell, Eleanor Nelson, Margaret Wolf; brother, Thomas O'Connell II, and son-in law, William Herdklotz.
