Carroll Wayne Wright, 72, of Belvidere, died suddenly in his home on Sunday, April 8, 2012. He was born on September 9, 1939 in Altus, Oklahoma; the son of Fred and Catherine (Lawson) Wright Wayne married Roberta K. Bean in Loves Park, Illinois in 1971. He worked in the shipping department at Barber-Coleman Company. In the 1960's he was a cook in the U.S. Army. Wayne was a member of the Svithiod Club in Rockford. He was a cook there for the many functions. He is survived by his three nieces, Maxine (Melvin) Krienke, Susan (Jimmy) Clendening and Kathleen McKenna; a grand-nephew, Christopher Giovingo; a grand-niece, Miranda Lewis; two great-grand-nephews Gavin and Chase Lewis;and other extended family in Oklahoma. Wayne is preceded in death by his Parents,; wife, Roberta K. (Bean) Wright; sister, Freda Lee; brother, James E. Wright.
