Carolyn Grossen, 63, of Poplar Grove, Illinois died Sunday morning, April 23, 2006 in her home. Carolyn was born August 14, 1942 in Rockford, Il the daughter of John C. and Phyllis M. (Swanson) Pearson. Carolyn worked for Filter Tech in Hebron, Il, retiring in 2004. In her younger years, Carolyn belonged to a quilting group and enjoyed ceramic work.Survivors include her son, Dan Grossen of Poplar Grove; daughter, Diana McKinney of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren, Amanda and Bradley Grossen, Mike, Mandy and Jennifer McKinney; sister, Kay (Reuben) Johnson of Stillman Valley, IL; nephew Bill (Patty) Johnson of Byron and a great niece or nephew on the way.Carolyn is predeceased by her parents; sister, Mary Clark and her children Heather, Eddie and B.J. and her former husband Charles Grossen.
