Belvidere, ILCarolyn L. "Carrie" Fildes, 69, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully early Wednesday morning July 13, 2011 in the University Hospital-Madison after a short battle with cancer. Carrie was born March 6, 1942 in Rapid City, S.D. the daughter of Henry and Caroline (Geisner) Rieb. She married Mr. Leslie D. "Les" Fildes in Rapid City, S.D. on June 10, 1960. She was a chiropractic assistant for Area Chiropractic for the past 16 years. She loved to work in her garden, read and cook for her family.She is loved and will be missed by her husband, Les of Belvidere; children, Tracy D. (Loretta) Fildes of Stillman Valley, IL, Cherise (Steve) Sherwin of Sarasota, FL, Patti (Bernie) Kargol of Lacon, IL and Dale Fildes of Rockford; grandchildren, T.J., Camaray, Kaylyn, Katrina, John, Cheyenne, Trevor, Niki; great-grandchild, Luke; sister, Kathy Julien of Indianapolis, IN and many nieces and nephews. Carrie is predeceased by her parents; son, Roy and her siblings.
