Carole K. Post, 75, of Belvidere, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at her home. She was born June 22, 1940 to Roy and Velma Reynolds. She married Larry Post on July 21, 1989 in Janesville, WI. She was a graduate of Woodstock High School and later attended cosmetology school. After cosmetology school Carole was owner of Headhunters Salon in Woodstock. She enjoyed many hobbies including crafts, gardening, singing karaoke, and was an excellent cook. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Carole was a member of the American Legion in Belvidere.

Carole is loved and missed by her husband Larry Post; children Lisa (Thomas) Pyszka, Gregg Meado, and Robert Meado; grandchildren, Nick and Cody Pyszka, Tyler, Charlie, Jordan, Devin, Michael, Jennifer, Mandy, and Savannah Meado; and numerous great-grandchildren. Carole is preceded in death by her parents Roy Reynolds and Velma Bowers, her stepfather Raymond Bowers, one son Anthony Meado, sister Donna Bowers, and brothers Gary and Steve Reynolds.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL, with Chaplain Joe Militello of Heartland Hospice officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Shattuck Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
