Carol left us on September 9, 2022. She will be remembered as a person full of generosity, kindness, love of family, and for making everyone feel welcome. Carol was the daughter of loving parents, Bob and Jeanne Kenney. She had three brothers, Jerry, Jim and Pat. In 1978, she married Jeff Wych and had two children, Joe (Marie) and Becky (Ben). She was Nana to Jack, Rory, Quinn and a fourth grandchild that is expected in January. She was so proud of her children and loved being a grandmother. Carol was a warm person that loved people. She worked as a beautician in Belvidere. She was a caregiver to her mother for years. She valued family and friends. Carol was the person that acknowledged all our life milestones and hosted many gatherings of family and friends. There was always room for one more at her dining room table which was filled with food and laughter. Carol enjoyed cooking, was artistic and crafty, and was exceptionally generous with her time, talents, and love. Carol was a guiding light for all who knew her. May that light continue to shine and inspire!

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Garden Prairie United Church of Christ, Garden Prairie, IL, Sunday, September 25, 2022. A memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m., at the Church, Monday, September 26, 2022. Burial at Garden Prairie cemetery will follow at the conclusion of the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted to purchase a park bench in Carol's honor.
