Carol L. Allendorf, 47, of Belvidere, went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2017 after a sudden illness. She was born August 24, 1970, the daughter of Ray and Viola Schmuggerow. She married Jeff Allendorf on December 15, 2013 in Belvidere. Carol was a dedicated mother, who loved shopping, cooking, and being with friends and family. She was known for her love of family, her giving and caring nature for everyone she met. Carol enjoyed every minute of life she could. She will truly be missed. Until we see you again in heaven.

Carol is loved and missed by her husband, Jeff; her children, Megan (Christian Recinos) Dittbenner, Colton Allendorf, grandson, Dominick Recinos; 3 brothers, her best friend, Sherry Anderson; numerous nieces, and nephews, and lots of friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with a visitation to take place from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., prior to the service. Cremation rites will follow the services.
