Carlos J. Alvarez, 79 of Rockford, IL; passed away peacefully, early Monday Morning, July 4, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born November 2, 1936 in Mexico the son of Ancelmo and Maria (DeJesus) Majia De Alvarez.  He married Margarita (Camacho) Andrade.  He enjoyed nature and loved his family.

Carlos is loved and will be missed by his wife, Margarita Camacho De Alvarez; children, Hector, Frank, Leticia, Sandra, Jaime, Carlos, Jesus and Francisco; many brothers, sisters, grandchildren; great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Evalia and Teresa.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm   on Thursday July 7, 2016 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W.
