Carl Dolmant, 76, of Poplar Grove passed away peacefully September 2, 2018 at Northwoods Care Centre, in Belvidere surrounded by the love of his family. Carl was born November 22, 1941, son of Edward and Rose (DeStephano) Dolmant. He married the love of his life Maureen Reinholtz June 3, 1972 in Melrose Park, Illinois.

Carl worked as an independent agent for the Chicago Tribune for many years. He enjoyed fishing, bingo and Chicago sports, especially the Bears and the Cubs. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Carl was a member of the VFW in Belvidere and volunteered at Bloomingdale Township where he won " Man of The Year" for his volunteer work.

Carl is dearly loved and will be missed by his daughter, Rion (Tim) Tovar-South, sons, Joseph and William Dolmant; and his grandchildren, Alex Tovar, Adrianna Tovar, Charles Dolmant, Michael Dolmant, William Dolmant, Jr., Andrew Dolmant and Savannah Dolmant.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Rose Dolmant; and his uncle, Joe DeStephano.

A memorial service will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue., Belvidere, IL.
