Boyd Raymond Hill 88, of Belvidere,IL was welcomed to his heavenly home on August 1st, 2023. He was born October 8th,1934 to Roy and Bernita (Scharping) Hill. He graduated from Belvidere High school class of 1953. He married the love of his life Charlene Doris Baxter on February 11th,1956, and together shared two daughters and 64 years of marriage. He served in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Bragg, NC from 1957-1959. He retired in 1999 from School District 100 as head custodian at the Junior High School. His Christian home was Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere. He was proud to be baptized on December 8th, 2013.

Boyd is survived by daughters Kim (Dave)Koelling and Kelly (Mike)Tolsma. Grandchildren Matt (Annette)Koelling, Jacob (Amanda)Koelling, Cory (Sarah)Neubert, Sherri (Shaun) Taylor, Travis (Kaleena)Tolsma. Boyd was blessed with 13 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Charlene, parents Roy and Bernita Hill, brothers William and Andy Hill.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Boyd's memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 15th at 11am at Anderson Funeral Home. Service to follow at 12pm. Burial to follow at Belvidere Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran School in Belvidere in memory of Boyd.
