Bob Helgerson, 68, of Belvidere, IL, died May 26, 2025, at his home.  He was born October 25, 1956, in Belvidere, son to Art and Joyce (Aspenson) Helgerson. He graduated high school and married Melissa Helgerson on May 21, 1977, in Belvidere. Bob was retired. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere. Bob's family will miss him dearly. He was funny and quick- witted. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren who he loved to tease and attend all of their events. He loved fishing at Lake Lawrence in Wisconsin and spending time at their seasonal campsite at Indian Trails campground also in Wisconsin. His ashes will be sprinkled at both places.
Bob is loved and missed by his children, Nate (Rachel) Helgerson and Mandy (Helgerson) Behnke; siblings, Dan (Tracy) Helgerson and Al (Frances) Helgerson; and grandchildren, Jordan, Gavin, Landon and Ethan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Art and Joyce Helgerson.
