Billy W. Williams, 74, of Belvidere, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 28, 2012 in Homebridge Care following a long illness. He was born on January 21, 1938 in Billingly, Alabama; the son of Robert and Gladys (Caver) Williams. Billy married Rhodonna Crabb in Clearwater, Florida on December 11, 1957. He served his country in the Army Reserves in the late fifties. Billy was employed in the maintenance department at Chysler Corporation. He was a member of the UAW local 1268 and longtime member of the Sharon Drifters Skippers Snowmobiling Club. In addition to snowmobiling, Billy enjoyed camping. Billy is survived by his wife Judy; his children, Tina (Dan) Turner, Poplar Grove, Illinois; Robert Williams, Matt (Shelby) Williams, both of Belvidere; and Mark (Sara) Williams of Poplar Grove; twelve grandchildren; and special nephew, Mike Senglaub. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister, Joy Senglaub.
