Beverly J. Hammond, 77, of Belvidere, IL died Saturday evening, October 12, 2013 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a short illness. Beverly was born August 26, 1936 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Wallace and Fern (Swanson) Englund. She married Ronald Owen Hammond on June 1, 1956 in Belvidere. Beverly is loved and will be missed by her children Gary (Cheryl) Hammond of Belvidere, Dennis (Lee) Hammond of Belvidere, Julie (Bradley) Hammond of Rockford; sisters Janice Henry and Joyce Burns both of Missouri; brother Wesley Englund of Rockford, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ronald.
