Beulah M. McLarty, 90 of Belvidere, IL passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, with her family at her side, from injuries received in an automobile accident.  Beulah was born July 20, 1927 in Janesville, WI the daughter of Rex and Sophronia (Snyder) Phillips.  She married Lester Robinson in 1947.  Following Lester's death in 1957, she married Harold B. "Mac" McLarty on January 19, 1962 in Janesville, WI at Ashbury United Methodist Church. Beulah worked for Parker Pen company in Janesville in her younger years.  Following Lester's death, she returned to Parker Pen until she married Harold.  Beulah and Mac settled in Belvidere where she worked in the office of ASC and also farmed alongside with Harold.  Beulah loved to dance.  She met Mac on the dance floor at Waverly Beech in Janesville.  Beulah had a servant's heart and was very active in the Boone County community.  She served as an election judge, was a member of the Boone County Farm Bureau, served at the Boone County Fair with the Farm Bureau and Grange, member of the Pork Producers, served meals on wheels for the Boone County Council on Aging, volunteered at Poplar Grove Elementary School in the after school reading program.  Beulah was also a member of the Guilford -Hope Grange and Guilford Gleaners as well as the Moose Lodge.  Beulah and Mac made their spiritual home at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.

Beulah is loved and will be missed by her husband, Harold "Mac"; children, Cynthia (King) Enos of Poplar Grove, Keith (Connie McLay) Robinson of AZ, Julie "Kit" (Dale) Dieterman of Belvidere; grandchildren, Jessika Robinson of AZ, Amanda (Brent) Grable of Germany, Anthony Enos of Poplar Grove, IL, Jenelle (Clay) Dieterman-Butt of Belvidere, Kayla Dieterman of San Francisco, CA; eight Great-Grandchildren; sister, Barbara (David) Werner of Madison, WI.  Beulah is preceded in death by her parents,; son, Curtis Edward Robinson; infant son Rex Earl McLarty; sisters, Roberta Bern and Doris Jeske.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2018 at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Carroll officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with Grange service at 6:45 p.m., Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the church, and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Friday prior to the service.  Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.  Arrangements by Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL.  Memorials in Beulah's name can be directed to Poplar Grove United Methodist Church; Guilford Gleaners or Guilford-Hope Grange.
