BettyJane Mix, 74, of Poplar Grove, IL and formerly of DesPlaines, IL passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, December 4, 2014 in SwedishAmerican Heart Hospital, Rockford, IL after a short illness.  BettyJane was born January 25, 1940 in Chicago, IL the daughter of John K. and Marie A. (Jansen) Eidukas.  She married Allen L. Mix on February 11, 1961 in Chicago.  Betty Jane loved being a mother to her children; a job that she performed with excellence.  She was a member of Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church and the Waycinden Women's Club.

BettyJane is loved and will be missed by her husband, Allen of Poplar Grove; children, Eileen Jane Mix of Elk Grove Village, IL, Gary Lee Mix of Arlington Heights, IL, Lisa Jane (Edward Lee) Crisler of Carbondale, IL; grandson, Raymond Dale Nadler; step-grandchildren, William, Mary, Nicole Crisler; brother, John "Jack" (Theresa) Eidukas of Mt. Vernon, WA; sister, MaryEllen Rains of Seattle, WA.  BettyJane is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Ann Schenke.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church, rural Poplar Grove, IL with Rev. Thomas Groh, pastor officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W.
