Obituary

Betty Mae Varble, 88 of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023. She was born on February 5th, 1935 in Hatfield, Indiana to the late Chester & Velva Duley. She was married to Everett Varble for 51 years before his passing in 2005. Together they had 5 children, Michael, Timothy, Theresa, Linda and Kenneth. Betty loved her family and friends dearly. Her greatest gift to them was her deep love for Jesus Christ. Setting an example of God's love to everyone she met. Betty was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren (with one on the way) and 1 great-great grandchild.

Betty is survived by her three youngest children, Theresa (Terry) Mowers, Linda (Thad) Withers and Kenneth Varble; dearest brother, Ronald (Mildred) Duley and his children Tammy & Ronnie; as well as her daughter-in-law, Pat Varble; chosen daughter, Kim Ward; her grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Linda Davis. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Timothy; daughter-in-law, Donna; grandson, Dustin; dearest family, Carl and Bonnie Varble; and friend, Larry Davis.

Betty's services will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at 12pm at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Officiated by family friend, Pastor Tom Davis. Betty's visitation will be at 11am until the time of service. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories.
