Betty Clark, 85, of Belvidere, died peacefully, Tuesday evening, June 10, 2014, in her home. Betty was born April 20, 1929, in Wayne County, IL. Daughter of John and Tressie (Wood) Davis. Betty married Harry Clark on November 9, 1946. They spent their lives in Belvidere, where Betty enjoyed working at the Ida Public Library. She was an avid gardener, reader and a champion pie baker.
Betty is loved and will be missed by her children, Lon (Kathleen) Clark, Janet (Chris) Pickett, and Julie (Michael) Stone; grandchildren, Caitlin (Nick) Baxley, Stephen Clark, and Timothy Pickett; great-grandchildren, Austin Roux and Killian Baxley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Clark; grandson, Max Clark; and brothers, Woodson, Forrest, and Gary Davis.
