Bettirose Alice Snider, 80, passed away July 1, 2012 in her home. She was born on January 6, 1932 in Michigan City, Indiana; the daughter of Charles "Charlie" Richard and Goldie Irene Light. She married Tommy Eugene Snider on September 29, 1950, Tommy passed away one day later on July 2, 2012. She is survived by her three children Nancy I. (Leslie) Anderson, Scottsdale, Arizona, Robert "Bob" E. (Mary) Snider, and Richard "Rich" A. (fiancée, Desi McGee) Snider, both of Belvidere; six grandchildren, Angela L. Jordan, Scottsdale, Arizona, Kristofor "Kris" W. Anderson, Peoria, Arizona, Kathryn Snider, Belvidere, Krista (Mathew) Huisel, Maricopa, Arizona, Richard A. Snider, II, Bailey A. Snider, both of Belvidere; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria (John) Sobieski and Patricia (Tom) Keene both of Dowagiac, Michigan and sister-in-law, Virginia Light of Niles, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews and her special friend, Patricia Jones. In addition to her husband, Bettirose was preceded in death by her brothers Charles "Chuck" A. Light; Arthur "Eugene" Light and Talmage "Tom" Light; and sister-in-law, Annie Light. The family wishes to thank their caregivers, Vira Potapchuk, Helena Franzen, Nadya Carlson, Sivlanta and Shannon Gibbons as well as the great staff from O.S.F. Hospice.
