Bernice Mae Rulison, 94, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away peacefully  November 11, 2016, at Halcyon Hospice in Georgia. She was born December 5, 1921 in Poplar Grove, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Irene (Tripp) Rewoldt. She married the late Frank Rulison July 25, 1946 in Belvidere.

Bernice received her Bachelor's Degree in Education and was a third grade teacher for thirty-five years at Poplar Grove Elementary. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere and loved needle work.

She is loved and missed dearly by her son, Mike (Elizabeth) Rulison; brother, Delmer Rewoldt; and two grandchildren, Kristin and Michael. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Frank.

A graveside committal service and burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at Highland Garden Of Memories Cemetery, 9800 Illinois Route 76, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Reverend Allan Buss officiating.
