Bernard Maynard Miller, 78 of Belvidere, IL passed away suddenly Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Swedish American Hospital, Belvidere, IL. Bernard was born October 6, 1936 in Rockford, IL, son of Marian and Gertrude (Coffee) Miller. He graduated from high school and went on to join the Air Force. He married Olia Roman on July 13, 1991. Bernie was employed by Chrysler Corporation. He enjoyed listening to Patsy Cline. Bernie was an enthusiast of tinkering with just about everything. He was a friend of Bill W.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife, Olia Miller; daughters, Dawn (Aric) Yates, Brigette (James) Witterholt; stepchildren, Janet, Jim (Linda), Jerry (Patty), Jack (Michelle, Dale (Rose); 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; former wife, Janet Davis; brother, Lester Miller. He is preceded in death by his parents; children, Mary Miller, Robbie Miller, Bobbie Miller.
Memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Dale Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to American Heart Association or Chrysler Work Force.
