Belva Idell Hansen, 78, of Belvidere, IL, died peacefully January 17, 2021 in Belvidere. She was born November 2, 1942, in Chetek, WI, daughter to Ben Stokes and Estella (Austin) Stokes.  She married her sweet heart, Gerald Hansen, April 8, 1961, in Belvidere. She received her GED and  worked at Lincoln School as a dietary aid. She loved spending time with her family. They meant the world to her. Belva also loved to garden, watch birds and especially loved to take care of her family.

She is loved and dearly missed by her husband, Gerald; daughter, Angela ( Robert) Varble; son, James (Tammy) Hansen; brother, David , of Rice Lake, WI; sister, Carol, of Janesville, WI; grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Jared, Miranda, and Kaytelyn; and great grandchild, Crysta.

Belva is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly; grandson, PJ; grandma and grandpa Stokes; stepdad, Harold Lee; and brother, Rodney.
