Bart C. Munch age 47 of Poplar Grove, Illinois died early Friday morning February 24, 2006 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a short illness. Bart was born December 8, 1958 in Sycamore, Illinois the son of Donald G. and Barbara L. (Strawn) Munch. Bart married Barbara L. Oleston on November 1, 1980 in Clinton, Wisconsin. Over the years he drove a truck for Munch Trucking. Bart was an avid fisherman, hunter, and hiker. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bart volunteered at the Boone County Fair and was a member of Flora Community Church.Survivors include his wife, Barbara L. Munch of Poplar Grove; mother, Barbara L. Munch of Kirkland; children, Josh Munch of Poplar Grove and Jennifer of Belvidere; brothers and sisters, Larry (Karin) of Kirkland, Ken (Judy) of Florida, Steve (LuAnne) of Winnebago, Donna (Mark) Warner of New York, Jane Munch of Sycamore, Tracy (Desiree) of Belvidere; numerous nieces and nephews. Bart is predeceased by his father, Donald and sister, Marjorie Ann Munch.

A memorial will be established in his name.
