Barbara K. Taylor, 70, of Machesney Park, IL passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 8, 1947, daughter of James D. and Angeline Bates. Barbara married the love of her life Dennis M. Taylor on June 17,1972 in Belvidere, IL. She was an executive secretary for Rockford Machine Tool early in her life, but her favorite career was being a loving wife, mother and nana. Barbara enjoyed sewing, knitting, genealogy, reading, playing rummy cube with friends and Uno on family game nights.

Barbara is loved and missed by her husband, Dennis; children Staci (Byron) Holley, Brian (Shelley) Rohda; grandchildren, Zachary Rohda, Brooklyn Holley; siblings, Jim (Cheryl) Bates, Carol (Ron) Kennison; father-in-law, Melvin Taylor; sister-in-law, Kathy Taylor as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law, Frances E. Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 30,2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Monty Fox officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. prior to service. Burial in Highland Garden of Memories. A Memorial will be established in Barbara's name at a later date.
