Rockford, ILBarbara A. JunkerRockford-Barb A. Junker departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, evening, November 30, 2005 at Northwoods Care Center after a diagnosis of cancer. Barb was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on March 12, 1954, the daughter of Marvin and Leatrice (Brown) Junker. Barb's loves were music, theater, traveling and time alone reflecting. She taught private piano lessons for 20 years in the Belvidere and Rockford area and enjoyed all of her students. It was important to Barb to be a good daughter, sister and friend, and because of that she will be greatly missed. Survivors include her mother, Leatrice Junker of Poplar Grove, IL; brother, Bruce (Jeanne) Junker of Newburg, WI; extended family and dear friend, Deb (Chuck) Jamison-Rogers and their daughter Paige Jamison of Loves Park, IL. Barb is predeceased by her father, Marvin Junker and her grandparents.
