Belvidere, IllinoisBarbara J. Day, 67, of Belvidere died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a lingering illness. Barbara was born March 30, 1939 in Beloit, Wisconsin the daughter of Paul and Ruby Mead. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, Class of 1957 and then worked in retail sales until her marriage. Barbara and Donald M. Day were married on June 27, 1959 in Beloit. Prior to her illness Barbara enjoyed traveling to such places as Europe, Great Britain, Hawaii, Alaska and the Caribbean. Barbara loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.Survivors include her husband, Donald of Belvidere, daughter, Kathy (Kevin) Nunn of Bradford, Vermont; grandchildren, Emily and Nicholas Nunn of Bradford, Vermont.
