Audrey M. Sachtleben, 92, formerly of Marengo, Illinois, died peacefully Saturday morning, May 3, 2008 in Palm Gardens Nursing Home, Clearwater, Florida. Audrey was born April 2, 1916 in McHenry, Illinois the daughter of Lewis and Nellie McDonald. She graduated form Woodstock High School and was a former Pink Lady at Highland Hospital in Belvidere. Audrey was a former member of the Marengo United Methodist Church and a former member of the U.M.W. She married Hal Allbee in 1939 in Dubuque, Iowa, Hal died in 1964, following his death, she married Dr. David M. Sachtleben in Marengo, IL in 1966.Survivors include her husband, Dr. David M. Sachtleben; daughter, Sue Ann Korsberg of Tampa, Florida; step-daughters, Carol Czarnecki of Lake Oswego, Oregon; Marjorie Anderson of Rockford, Illinois; Susan (Robert) Howard of Pendleton, Indiana; Stasia (Larry) O'Neill of St. Joseph, Michigan; brother, Lewis "Junior" McDonald, Jr. of Wisconsin; sisters in-law Eleanor McDonald and Marilyn McDonald; several nieces and nephews; step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Audrey is predeceased by her parents, husband, Hal Allbee; brothers, Ford, Kenneth, Robert and Richard McDonald; step-daughter Barbara (Robert) McCann; step great-grandson, Paul McCann.

A memorial will be established in Audrey's name.
